Booking / Rates
In the first instance please visit our
Availability / Rates calendar located on the Scottish-Cottages website to see if the date(s) you prefer are currently available.
Please then contact us to confirm that the date(s) and the property you would prefer are available.
We can be contacted by telephone, email or by using the online enquiry form on the site. If you decide to phone - and there's nobody available - just leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If the dates you would like are available you can now send your cheque along with the Print Out Booking Form on this site. An acknowledgement will be sent by return.
- Booking Confirmation
A firm booking will be made upon receipt of a booking form and £100.00 deposit
of the accommodation rental for each week to be booked. Bookings made within eight weeks of the start
date are required to be paid in full.
- Payment of Balance
The balance is due and payable
not later than eight weeks before the holiday start date. In the event of
this balance not being received on time, we reserve the right to cancel
the holiday without further notice and without any refund of deposit.
In the event of cancellation the deposit will not be refunded. If cancellation
is notified within eight weeks of the start date, you will be liable to
pay the full balance, unless the property is relet for the cancellation
period. Guests are advised to insure against risk of losing whole rent in
the event of cancellation.
Should the property not be available due to circumstances outwith our control
(for example fire, theft or damage), we cannot guarantee to provide alternative
accommodation. In this case all sums will be returned to you in full, but
you will have no claim against us.
- Number in your party
Under no circumstances shall the number of persons using the accommodation
exceed the maximum stated on the booking form. We reserve the right to cancel
the let, without refund of sums paid, should this condition not be observed.
The property owner or her representative shall be allowed access at any
reasonable time during the rental period, if required.
Guests are responsible for reporting and paying for any breakages or damage
they cause to the contents, furnishings, or the property itself.
All terms are per week, 4pm Saturday to 10am Saturday. Guests
agree that on departure, the accommodation is left in the same state of
cleanliness and general order in which it was found.
Guests undertake to relieve the owners from responsibility for loss, injury,
or damage to any member of the resident party, or their property, however
caused, while resident in the letting property.

Please be aware that no towels are provided.

There is a no smoking policy in the cottage.
- No pets
There is a no pets policy in the cottage.
