Very comfy stay, good weather. Can see family of seals out on the loch when it starts to get dark. Would really like to stay here again. Recommend the 2 hour boat trip from Ullapool, lots of fun and lots of animals to see.

I liked swimming in the loch and exploring the gully with my brother. Ullapool is great - try the Seascape tour - it is brill, and Achiltibuie is nice too. Wonderful scenery all around. Try driving the scenic coastal route to Torridon via Gairloch valley, very pretty with views of Skye & Lewis. Watched an otter eating a fish from cottage, much wildlife to see.

The seascape was brilliant. We enjoyed swimming in the loch. We had great weather and I would suggest Achiltibuie and Ullapool to other people who visit.

Had a great time. the house is in a fantastic position for watching wildlife. We saw an otter, seals and porpoises most days, lots of birds, greenfinches, chaffinches, robins, great tits, kittiewakes & coaltits. Had lovely weather, scenery is beautiful and lots to see and do. Drive up the Bealach towards Applecross for a drive with a difference! Great views at the top.
Do buy seeds for the birds, within a day or two of putting out food I counted more than 70 greenfinches & chaffinches. Keep an eye out too for red deer, Tony.

We'll certainly miss the view & tranquility here, also the fabulous hills & lochs and all the excercise we had going up and down them. Weather mostly dry but beautiful waves and rainbows on the loch when raining.
A great Week!
